In the northern coast Bajamar is home to a few solid reefs in north and south winds. in addition we find the beach breaks at Alm\u00e1ciga and at El Socorro. The east coast is largely poor of spots but during special conditions it is possible to catch nice waves. the best places are Igueste de San Andres and the less known beach break of El Poris. In the west coast we find some good waves just in Alcal\u00e0. the place offers three peaks, k16 is only for local body boarders and the other two, \u201dEl medio\u201d and \u201cLo chalet\u201d, are for experienced surfers, so they are less crowded spots.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The island gets north swells in winter and south swells in summer. Due to its position, Playa de Las Americas is exposed to both.
