First of all we have to say that the place you are visiting is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. This is because of the beauty of the island with its natural attractions, along with its perfect climate.

Here coexist deserts and forests, beaches and mountains, cold and hot weather. This excursion will take you to the northern side of the island, a very green area. Here we find a wet microclimate caused, above all, by the trade winds which often bring clouds to this region.

After that we head to one of the most beautiful areas of Tenerife, the “Parque Rural de Anaga“. This area is famous because of its green mountains and amazing landscapes. The Anaga park was declared a biosphere reserve in 2015. It is home to the ‘laurisilva’, a type of evergreen forest typical of Madeira and the Canary Islands, so called because of the predominance of species of the Lauraceae family.

We continue our trip leaving Anaga and traveling through the forest of “Monte de las Mercedes”. Soon we reach the town of La Laguna, home to the most famous university of Canary Islands; there we have a walk in the historical center admiring its architecture typical of the Spanish colonial settlements.

Finally, we travel back to the area where we picked you up. Of course, we leave you in the same place where we met in the morning.
