SURF LESSON

First of all Our surf School Tenerife provides group and private lessons for all levels. on this fantastic volcanic island kissed by the ocean the sun is shining all year round. great waves make happy surfers from all over the world. Tenerife is indeed a surfer paradise just a few hours away from Europe.

The best part of this dream? There are no dangerous sharks trying to bite your feet during the surf sessions. Either you are a professional or a beginner you just need to pack your bag, get one of the hundred flights that reach the island every day and prepare yourself for a great surf experience.

So the group lessons are for a maximum of 6 people and you have to be at least 14 years old to participate. On the other hand, private lessons are for 1 to 4 people maximum. There are different options available according to the number of participants:

• 1 person, possible also for children from 5 years old;
• 2 people, possible also for children from 8 years old;
• 3 or 4 people, if there are children check with us about the age.

At our surf school Tenerife all lessons, whether private or group, last 2 hours. our professional instructors will take care of you during the whole time.

Tenerife is the biggest and most populated of the Canary Islands. It is dominated by Teide, an amazing volcano 3718 meters high right in the middle of the island. Its impressive altitude creates the conditions for different microclimates. For this reason, the eternal spring island is rich in nature and beautiful panoramas. Because of the particular morphology of the coast in Playa de Las Americas, it is possible to catch the best waves. Here we find several surfing spots in only one kilometre of coast. They are just walking distance from all the hotels and resorts of the area. The most famous spots are “La Izquierda”, “El Medio”, “El Bunker”, “La Derecha”, “Piscina”, “El Dedo” and “Fitenia”. Tenerife presents north swells in winter and south swells in summer. Because of its position Playa de Las Americas is exposed to both of them.
